Dan Kimpel was a music business entrepreneur in Los Angeles who contributed to the end-all be-all music magazine for indie artists at the time. Dan turned out to be a long time supporter of my endeavors and was the one to facilitate this pre-release exposure.
I remember feeling that maybe I had gotten too personal with what was a rather mainstream magazine for people in the music industry. But I think it was one of those moments where I surrendered to a level of transparency that would allow me to be more candid about more impactful things later on.
